Chucks new 67 1/2 1600

Post by zippy67roadster »

My buddy Chuck beat me to this 67 1/2 1600 located here in Las Vegas. It has had what appears to be a skim coat of bondo put on it and is starting to spider crack. The handles were "shaved" and the antenna was frenched. The car has been in storage for 10 years or so and when Chuck got it to his place he got it to start and run using a gas can as a make shift fuel tank! I can't believe it started after all this time. He was considering parting it out but I think I have him convinced to save it and restore it for his wife. I will let him add to the story including the ridiculously low price he paid for it. 8) Here are some pictures as Chuck can't compress them to post them.

This will be an interesting project. Any close-ups of the frenching and shaving work? just curious.

Wow, what a score. Some tires, and drive the hell outta that thing until the bondo starts flying off.
