Great color and wheel choice. Houston to Anchorage? You must really like extreme temperatures James🥵🥶

I'm restoring and repainting the emblems and they will go back on tomorrow.

Your profile location still says Houston, but what I really want to know is what/how you're restoring the emblems?

Oh, yeah.....looks great! :smt023

Thanks.

Sand or steel wool off the corrosion, chrome polish, then repaint with a model paintbrush :-)

Here are some more progress photos for #275. Lots done and not lots left - but a lot of the small detailed stuff to do. Today was off to the upholstery shop to get the tops fitted and the interior installed.

Cheers

Car is back in TX! Long story short I am working down here in TX for a while and brought the car down for the winter. She sure wouldn't get much use in Anchorage this winter! More progress photos soon.

I picked up a pair or late model Mikuni 44s :-)

Well, good move. And I've been wining about shuffling cars into secure winter parking ----------just across town.
Score!!!! Nice Mikuni manifold. I didn't realize the L heads match the U20.

I have an early Solex 2000 car - I just want to have a set of the newer carbs as they are easier to run and tune than the originals.
