They all will be driven Alvin :-) But I think I am going to keep just 275 - as she is the one w/ the balanced and blueprinted engine, aluminum flywheel, LSD, etc.

Cheers

After 12 months - huge progress! I didn't believe it was going to happen but it actually did yesterday. Here are some progress photos since it's been 12 months and all.

<plug>now you can see why I need to sell my 1500s to make room and some money for restoration parts from JT lol<endplug>

Cheers

My car is still stuck at the body shop. It's all painted but the color didn't come out right on the front of the fenders where the lead messed it up. Needs touching up and cut and buff still. Body shop owner not calling me back after 3 calls...

James, I'd be on that shop hard if they have not cut and buffed her yet as the paint starts to harden more and more and it becomes more difficult to remove swirl marks. The silver may not be as sensitive as the black cars I've done, but still...
If she swirls in the sun, the BEST wax I've used is Eagle one Nano-wax, hands down. I tried EVERYTHING, including meguiers swirl remover... Still swirled. Out of desperation I did the Nano-wax and it performed exactly as it said it would.

Wow - it's been 3 years! Well she's back in the garage and I am working on her again. Hopefully I can make a lot of progress this winter while it's cool down here.

First step will be to oil up the engine using the oil pump and drill trick, then crank her over a few times by hand.

Cheers
James

Great that you finally got it back from the shop. Looks good, some assembly required.
Look at that giant electrical schematic on the wall...handy :)

Lots of enthusiasm and made some good progress this weekend. My son and I got the engine oiled up using the drill method. They we cranked her over a few times using the starter! Next up is getting the cooling system and fuel system back in and ready to break in the engine and new C cam. I also put in the 123 distributor and I'll need to static time that and do the valve gaps too.

This weekend was also parts inventory and sorting day. Oh my was that a lot of work! Surprisingly after 8 years I'm not missing too much.

Cheers
James

Thanks Kyle! I am enjoying the project so far - how do you eat an elephant? One step at a time. At least the car is clean so a joy to work on.
