Ok, I literally paged through this entire feed and cannot find any recommendations for what kind of bolt plugs the 2nd unused port if you cross drilled the rotors. I am having a hell of a time finding a small one, and everything I'm finding is course thread. I'm pretty sure its a 10mm bolt because thats what everyone said for banjos but the length seems to be about 1.0cm or something close to it.

PLEASE HELP its the only part I still need (famous last words)

McMaster Carr has 10mm x 1.0 mm bolts and cap screws

I am pretty sure you can use a brass 1/8" NPT plug...it has a tapered thread with 27 threads per inch instead of 25.4 threads for the 10 x 1.0 ...you need to be careful because its tapered....tighter as it goes in farther.

These look to be the best option.

It's $18.74 to buy two and have them shipped. I think what I'm going to do is order 30 of them. I'm also going to order the washers from McMaster-Carr. I'll put them up on my site for $5ea(with washers) as an option to the kit. If ordered separately, they will be $16 for 2 with washers shipped via flat rate priority. If my numbers are correct, factoring in all costs, including paypal fees, I'll make a grand total of about $1. Maybe less depending on packing material.

I don't want to buy any more than that until after the ABS caliper is checked out. Evidently, the '96? '98? volvo caliper was ABS and only has one brake line hole. If that's the case and they're physically the same otherwise, it will make much more sense to order those.

Anyone know this guy? Just curious since he copied my work with the bearing spacer. Would have been nice if he tried to work with me first.

3rd - 5th options....

Not cool at all. Lots of effort went into this on Mike's part and would urge you guys to continue your support of him. He is a valuable part of the Datsun community here in the NW and is willing to put in the time to figure this stuff out. To see his part "reverse engineered" is shameful at best.

I've never worried too much about sharing all the specifics on projects in the hopes that there will be a few that actually do it for themselves. The markets are so small on the others that it's doubtful anyone would ever try to copy them....just not enough money in it. I guess roadsters have a big enough market. If I had the time, it would be quite easy to put together similar packages and undercut him....heck...shipping alone would make the difference. The manifolds are the only real difference.....anyone can buy new calipers and banjo bolts.

I haven't offered complete packages and I can see that being a real plus for the owners. He doesn't offer a DIY kit, so each will appeal to a slightly different customer. But, since the entire mod works because of the spacer, it's a bit annoying that he didn't even contact me. I probably would have worked something out with him....then he could have done the single caliper spacer. Washers? Not even good shim washers. Lazy. Hmmm......maybe my first product off the new mill will be affordable manifolds! LOL! :) As they say.....it's a dog eat dog world and two can play that game......I'm just not sure it's worth the grief or effort to even worry/bother with it.

I really appreciate the support from everyone here!!!

I'll have to check....I think I've got several kits and rotor sets sitting on the shelf.

Exit64......I have the drill jig here now if you still need/want to borrow it.

Thanks guys!!

At first I laughed.....figured I'd mispelled it......but reading back through it, it's spelled correctly. I only see it in one place......am I missing another one?

Maybe you're getting your bong confused with your bolts? lol
