Keep it going. I'll get some time tomorrow for my affair. Gotta love her.

They missed a couple spots underneath when they painted so I took it back in. I don't think they realized how thoroughly I blasted it. Couple spots have to be done by hand with a brush. Just can't get a paint gun in there.

They put the undercoat on for me. Saturday I'll clean the frame back up. Still have to make my screw on splash shield.

All the red over spray you see is from the previous owner's paint job.

What paint/material did you use for the undercoating?

They used a jobber rubberized coating. He gave me a can to use. I'll have to see what it is. It sure looks good and lays down nice.

Wish the rest of the car looked as good as the bay now.

I want to start on my other car but the front rockers, pillars, floor and sidewall by the pillars all have rust through in them. If I could find another 66 tub in better shape I would scrap this one. Can't decide whether to run it up to Ross, down to Mike, or have the guy who did my bay do the metal work. For the rockers I almost think it's worth it to buy the Australian parts by the time you pay for the shop to make them.

This Summer I think I am going to put the body of the white one outside and start on the frame. I have the red one to drive soon.

Almost there. Couple shots before the radiator goes in. I've got spark and fuel so I hope it starts up.

Very nice! The only suggestion I could give you is to add a red mark of some kind to the positive battery cable.

Thanks. It'll have the red felt pad on it.

Looks great.

What is the black box in front of the Clutch Master used for?

The fuse box I made. Has the new style fuses in it. It's all on my wire harness rebuild thread.

Again, it's looking great! I am in the process of painting my engine bits and reassembling - I can't wait to get it running! Just curious, why'd you go with a black block it almost gets lost in the frame?
I'm going with the GM Blue hi-heat paint and am pretty happy with the similarity ( quite a bit bluer) to the Datsun color. It should really pop in the white engine bay. I should be able to post a few pictures in a couple of days! Keep up the great work!

Black is the stock color for that year. And I like it. Personally I'm not that crazy about the Nissan blue.

I don't really like the Nissan blue either! It's cool that black is stock - I didn't mean to imply that I don't like it, I do. It looks GREAT!
