To RCMike, That took me a minute to figure out but its the building across
from mine I'm 19A/B. Also the trailer had a screw in the tire so it was going
flat too. That's what you get when you borrow a friends stuff.
I should of taken the photo in front of Counts Kustoms from the
Counting Cars TV show that's 2 buildings away from mine.

the paint color is sweet Chuck, it is how I imagined it when I saw just the engine bay at Solvang.

Okay who is this guy and what have you done with Alvin?

A 67.5 two liter getting the full treatment but NOT according to factory specs and you chime in with positive comments? What's next? Is Sid gonna chime in about how nice white cars look when you don't paint it black behind the grill? Is the rest of the list gonna start complaining about how it never happened cuz you gave us too many pictures?

C'mon Alvin you've pulled our leg long enough..... The guy building this car is your little brother right?

Having seen this car myself when he started and spending several hours repairing the damaged frame I can say that this car has truely been returned from the grave. The work and passion Chuck has put into this has earned him the right and my respect for making it what he wants it to be.

I cleaned up the Shelby wheels that i purchased in September and had some new tires installed on them. The tires are Falcon 185/60/14s and i think i could of gone with the 195s on the rear now that i have the Mazda rear axle installed, cant tell from the picture but i have rear disk brakes now.
Im really impressed with the Johns work on building the axle it took me and a friend about 3 hours to remove the old one and install the new one.

can't go wrong with those wheels…looks better!
now that you have a fancy LSD go tape yourself doing a proper 2 wheel burnout!

My U20 block is finally started to leak antifreeze out the side. I'm really surprised it lasted this long, I bought it last April for the Solvang show off ebay and found that the previous owner pulled it out of a running car when I got it I told him it appears to have been frozen and cracked. He quickly credited me back so ive been lucky that its run for this long. NOW I'm looking for a new block with a low number or factory replacement with no numbers. I cant remember who contacted me with one but I sure would like to hear back from him, I will probably post it in the I'm buying section
