I'm amazed that it fits, is the jz shorter in length than other inline-6s?
Will that tiny radiator provide enough cooling?
Is that the FMIC in front?

I'm not how much shorter it is than other i6's...i know that its about the same length as the previous 7m or 1j

I'm giving the tiny radiator a try, i know of a few people who have ran this with success but if anything i do have alternative solutions to cooling.

Yes its a tiny FMIC, probably wont do much but i dont need it to....low boost is all it needs.

I just realized that this may be the first time I've seen how this engine fits near the front crossmember, or was that covered earlier?

What did you have to do to make it fit?

Notched it, I also welded some support under it. Once i know everything is working correctly i will take it apart and finish the welding on the frame and body

Ya might want to continue that extra support throughout the frame for that kind of power!!! It's pretty stiff compared to some other cars of that era, but it is a convertable. Maybe tie in a real roll bar to the frame? I look forward to seeing it complete!
