Hi Canada ( and everyone else of course). Thought I’d reach out again to the Great White North roadster faithful. A long winter across our huge country as usual . Send in pics of your early spring drives . Your first of the season startups, your first stretching of the the datsun legs. Tell us where you’re at? I’m sure there are lots of us that will be uncovering the beasts over the next few weeks. Between hockey playoffs I’m sure there’s time for an inaugural rip or two.

Welcome back my Canadian friends! I too am "unhybernating" the blaster. Maybe I'll get up that direction this year!

Fired it up and backed out of the garage this weekend... didn't go anywhere yet

Still had some play up and down in the steering column so I pulled apart and re-tightened the upper bushing and clamp assembly. Also took off the 'racing' pedal clamp covers from the previous owner... made it nearly impossible to not hit the brake and accelerator at the same time.

Finished up last night around 9:00 and went outside of the garage into winter wonderland again! Full on snow and ice after a pleasant weekend. Spring is being muleish and stubborn in coming this year.

Mine has been my daily driver all year ... with a few days off for really deep snow and super ugly road conditions. And a rebuilt steering box.

Last week there were a few young-uns taking photos on the roof of the office parkade ... here's few shots they took of my little car. Yup, pretty high resolution...so you can see every speck of dirt ... in need of a wash.
