well as some know, the trans went out on our move to from PDX to La Grande.

lucky for us it happened as I was getting off 85 in hood river.

Mike (exit64) being the awesome dude that he is towed it to his shop nearby and said keep goin ill take care of it.
(because we had to get there by a specific time)

turns out it needed a new trans so mikes been working on it since and doing some "while Im at it"'s

It's kind of funny, as usual stories about the actions of PO's are preceded with, or followed by "Not sure what they were thinking when they did........"
:-)
Way to go Mike, you help restore honor and credibillity to the name of PO!

I drove from La Grande to Vancouver WA yesterday to sell my 620 and stopped at mikes in Hood River

Image

Image

its hangin out with Mikes 2000 until the new gaskets get in

Image

lol and heres the old trans.

this is what the block and two half teeth should look like

Image

and this is what the 4th gear one looks like

Image

that one little broken half tooth is the cause of all our problems lol

the rest of the trans gears look perfect too

Glad everything worked out. My cousins are from Vancouver, I love that part of the country! If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the new foam and cover for the seats?

mike gave me the covers when I got the car and I custom cut the foam out of bulk material for it.
