I am also considering this device since after installing my 5 speed, I have no speedometer function.
I didn't install the speedo pinion and right angle drive before I fitted the engine & transmission and now it is a no go to do that task: not enough real estate!
Even if I did, I'm sure with my luck that I would have used the wrong pinion ratio anyway

So, when my ship comes in, Lotto happens and the stars align, I will go this way

Here is a link to the actual device which I believe is the same one: -

In the meantime, in between time, I am using a digital GPS speedo which is very satisfactory when driving: -

Low profile, programmable display, more accurate than something which doesn't work :D

Oh, and I don't think our authorities give a toss about mileage and stuff on historic cars, never seen or heard of any legalities in that area.

Anxious to hear how it goes!

Did you see my post on chainsaws since 2012
You cannot adjust the carbs ,takes a special tool you can't buy in US , apparently they care about 33cc engines used 10 hours per year
IN 85 at nissan our engine rebuilder tech called Orielly auto parts machine shop asking if they could get ,.040 or .060 over pistons and rings for a 77 280z ....they wouldn't cut it only .010 ,020 as its already at the fuel limits that puts it over , this is one reason dealers will not swap in a used engine ...most won't

Guessing "1024" isn't MPH ... or even KPH ... seeing as it is Mach 1.3 ... or Mach 0.83 ... over the ground.

To give some relief to this poor horse, decided to look it up... per The Government as of December 2020:

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is reminding consumers that, starting January 1, 2021, odometer disclosures will be required for every transfer of ownership for the first 20 years, beginning with Model Year 2011 vehicles. Model Year 2010 and older vehicles will continue to be subject to the previous 10-year disclosure requirements and thus are exempt from extended Federal odometer disclosure requirements.

The U.S. fleet of vehicles is, on average, older than ever, and NHTSA finalized this rule late last year to address an increase in odometer fraud involving older vehicles.

Model Year 2011 or newer vehicles will only be exempt from the odometer rules after 20 years. To comply with Federal law, anyone transferring ownership of a Model Year 2011 or newer vehicle will be required to provide an odometer disclosure to the new owner.

Model Year 2010 and older vehicles will continue to be exempt from federal odometer disclosure requirements. Sellers of Model Year 2011 vehicles must continue to disclose odometer readings until 2031.

You needed to look up tampering with a speedo CALL YOUR STATE VEHICLE INSPECTOR ( @ your state patrol station ) and ask if you can R&R the head , it's the same for VIN plates
Mo. got this federal felony back in 79 ?
As it back then was states crime felony
It was 6 months , so many being rolled back , they made it 1 yr penalty then 2 yrs , then they announce it would be 3 yrs . The FBI announced they were making it 10 yrs prison sentence .....nothing has changed federally
I'll bet $$

I installed and fried two Speedbox GPS units. After I got the third one (all under warranty) I suddenly realized I've been mounting it right next to the coil and now that I moved it to the drivers side it's been fine. It took a while but the light bulb in my head suddenly glowed.
