If you decide to replace the rear springs, the Flex form mono-leafs will require lowering blocks to set your height which will allow for some adjustment to match the front. I think I'm running an inch block, but I can always confirm that when and if needed.
Definitely very thankful for the information that has been shared in this thread, this is my first time getting a chance to dive this deep into a car and especially a 70 roadster, I’ll take all the little tidbits I can get!

This is the car today, my father in law and his good friend worked on fixing my top from when it blew off and sustained some nasty damage :| got the adapters on , had to work the front ones a little bit but wasn’t much trouble! Just wanted to see how it would look with the wheels, add a little extra motivation! Tomorrow we are rolling the fenders and hopefully getting some new metal in the floor 👍 cause she’s in desperate need haha!
Engine and trans are out, reason for the really high front end

I know that you posted that about the wheels, but I like the opening window hardtops - nice find.

Thank you! It came with the roadster, we are working on these little window clips to have a 2-3 options for how far the window can adjust. Little story, When we were pulling the car back from virgina; we literally just got onto the interstate driving for about a mile we come to a stop because of an accident. While we are sitting there this guy in a semi truck with a pretty thick foreign accent pulled beside us and says “ convertible , convertible “ and signals his hands up above his head- we thought he was like saying “ sweet convertible. Well, the top flew off the car as soon as we got on the interstate and we didn’t see it happen. Pulled over walked about a mile and a half or so to get the top off the interstate. The front corners were busted off and I honestly figured it will now be a full time convertible lol! Well, my father in law and his good friend surprised me and fixed the busted corners and reworked/fixed all the areas that were busted from the top incident. I was very surprised and very thankful!

We were working on identifying areas that needed new metal and have found some really bad areas of thru-rust on some of the inner panels under the hood , hardcore on the inner passenger side and works it’s way down to the bottom of the passenger door. We started to get to work and noticed that the body is actually sinking on the passenger side. So not only is it an entire floor pan basically tub fix but now we have to figure out how to straighten the body out and get it all back to basically pretty solid :p haha

Need to get that out, sorry for the mini-book there haha!

Also, made a little progress on getting the z31 rear discs on, made the first cut and cleaned it up
To post some positive progress!
