Agree, except to the extent that both carbs and associated manifold (number of throats and orifice area) and cam (valve lift and duration) restrict or enable air-fuel mixture flow rate through the head, thus potential power. Changing one but not the other may not affect the overall flow or drivability to the extent of the full Mikuni with B cam package.
