What are the quintessential roadster wheels?

Dang, you guys made me go out and buy some genuine American Racing Equipment Libres! The Pannasports looked good. These look better.

[quote="Alvin"]Libras!
We did a comparison of stock/EMPI and Libras here:

IMHO, I agree that Panasports are a "safe" but boring choice. At Solvang I was really impressed with the 15" Libras on MIke Young's SRL:

I love the compare extraordinaire! I guess on this case with the silver car my vote would be for
the standard caps and steel (silver) wheels. Amazing you guys can compare these wheels. You got
any appliance wheels?

Yes, if you look at the very top of this forum there is a "Wheel Pictures" topic. It has (most) every wheel you can imagine on a roadster:msampsel wrote: You got

Sorry I'm a little late to the party here but...
I have always dug the look of wires. THIS, I believe, is the quintessential roadster look.

Re: What are the quintessential roadster wheels?
The wheels on above silver car look more like Empis than Panas. I think Panas are aesthetically more pleasing than Empis. Watanabes, TE37, and VTO 4 spokes do it for me!

Wires are nice, but they increase the likelihood of being mistaken for a British (MG) or Italian car.
And I just can't live with that Lol
