its not a grocery getter, the car will be able to be daily driven. but it wont be. its going to be more of a
weekend car and roadrace/time attack/occasional pulls at the drag strip.

thanks, will probably be a little while for some updates, we just ran into some problems with our 1930 model a and recently picked up a 1960 corvette, and just did some work on that. next thing on the roadster is probably the wiring. need to pick up a ez harness and also do the engine harness at the same time

This is an awesome build. What measurements did you use to get the Ford Rear End to fit? How much modifying was required?

we got the measurements from spriso on the for 8 inch he used, and brought it and the old rear end to a local guy named jamie franklin (his father invented the franklin quick change rear end) and he just got it perfect. just had to shorten it. 9 inch is of course little heavier than the 8, but i think the extra weight in the back may help a little lol.

Another quick question. What type of disc brakes did you use? Your car looks great and is way ahead of my build, but I am trying to do a lot of the same things.

I just sold my 69 2000 to a guy nearby you, Oldsmar, FL. He wants to do a SR swap also, but I think the drive around the block after it rolled off the transporter convinced him it's OK enough as is for now

thanks! in the front we will be using z32 tt calipers, and in the rear its the stock ford 9 inch brakes(these are big and beefy), will probably get a drilled/slotted rotor and hawk pads

thanks alot, oldsmar is pretty close, i dont think i have ever seen another roadster driving though, wish a few more people lived closer! the stock yellow roadster we have is fun to drive, but my daily driver is a 240sx, sr swapped making between 300-350 to the wheels, so the roadster feels slow haha still fun in the turns, but in fl we dont have alot of roads to enjoy it!

He just got it last week.

haha sure thing. im sure we will get some this year, its been pretty warm. ive had to wear a jacket between 5-10 times all winter lol
