It's easier to do than it is to describe. Basically, you barely loosen the hex nut that retains the nozzle assembly in the bottom of the carburetor and raise the piston and let it drop under spring pressure with the black plastic nut/fill cap removed. It should fall freely with a nice dull clunk. gently tighten the nut a bit and recheck.
