Man, I've gotta hand it to you and your positive attitude... I think I would have hung myself from the nearest tree (if any were still standing) after doing all that work only to have it smashed! (and I'm a therapist!). Well, maybe not, but you know what I mean! Having done all my own body work, I KNOW how much work it is to get it right, and I hope I never have to do it again (unless I REALLY want to). Glad that everyone is OK and the Roadster is salvageable. Good luck and let us know how it comes out.

(And you can admit it; a part of you just wanted to pick up a baseball bat and just smack some things, right? Just for a second?)

Thanks! Yep, it's soon to be back in shape. And yea, it was quite disappointing to see, but I knew it could've been worse. I usually park it in a spot on the driveway where it would've been completely crushed. I had been bleeding the brakes and I was just too lazy to pull it into that spot the night before after I was done with the brakes...thankfully I WAS too lazy! Today I'll start sanding again - with 80 grit. Gosh that sounds awful to have to sand that rough after 2000 grit haha!

Wow I haven't been on the forum for 4+ months!?! Wow how time flies. Thanks again Nate :P Hoping to get back into the swing of things and get to drive it a bit. Finished it, but been so busy, it hasn't seen much asphalt.

Drive it like you stole it Shel! Great job.

I've been putting as many miles on the 69 as I can while the weather is awesome.

Cheers

I've tagged the car now and managed to get the tag 'EATMG' approved. So it'll be seeing more of the road now :) Thanks James!

Those are one of my favorite wheels on the car. Nice! Are those the 1st gen Miata seats?

Thanks! I blacked out the inner portions and polished the faces to make them unique.
Yep the seats are from a first gen Miata. I guess I could have used my brother's Porsche 944 seats since his car is crushed :o

I've rebuilt the choke cables using colour matching housings and I'm busy working on reupholstering everything myself, so I'll post more pictures soon.
