Man, I've gotta hand it to you and your positive attitude... I think I would have hung myself from the nearest tree (if any were still standing) after doing all that work only to have it smashed! (and I'm a therapist!). Well, maybe not, but you know what I mean! Having done all my own body work, I KNOW how much work it is to get it right, and I hope I never have to do it again (unless I REALLY want to). Glad that everyone is OK and the Roadster is salvageable. Good luck and let us know how it comes out.

Thanks! Yep, it's soon to be back in shape. And yea, it was quite disappointing to see, but I knew it could've been worse. I usually park it in a spot on the driveway where it would've been completely crushed. I had been bleeding the brakes and I was just too lazy to pull it into that spot the night before after I was done with the brakes...thankfully I WAS too lazy! Today I'll start sanding again - with 80 grit. Gosh that sounds awful to have to sand that rough after 2000 grit haha!

Alrighty, so I've finally finished my resto project and it's just a mater of tweaking the little things mechanical things, but it's FINISHED! April 4, 2010 to May 23, 2011 ... 415 days start to finish.

Wow I haven't been on the forum for 4+ months!?! Wow how time flies. Thanks again Nate Hoping to get back into the swing of things and get to drive it a bit. Finished it, but been so busy, it hasn't seen much asphalt.

Yep the seats are from a first gen Miata. I guess I could have used my brother's Porsche 944 seats since his car is crushed

I've rebuilt the choke cables using colour matching housings and I'm busy working on reupholstering everything myself, so I'll post more pictures soon.
