Right at this second I'm the newest newbie! :)

Hello everyone. Some of you might remember me from some nifty blue shirts about the great SR20 engine. I still have a few left, BUT, I have a better reason to be here now!! :D Guess who's picking up a 311?? :smt038 :smt038 It's really not much more than a parts car but I can dream, right?

Welcome. It may not look as hopeless once it's cleaned up. Odd tho, I don't think I've ever seen a car that had the master cylinders, carbs and washer bottle painted the car color before. It looks like they just dipped the car in red paint. You're gonna need a lot of time and paint remover but like the folks here say, "that'll buff right out".

Welcome. Put your location in your user info, and then there could be some owners near by to help you with questions, parts or work on the car.
The site has a lot of good info available thru the Search button, and the WIKI link.
Enjoy, newbie!

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

Welcome aboard. It looks far more solid and complete than a parts car. Post pics after you clean it up some, and let us all have at it with suggestions.
(P.S. - that process usually requires that you have some pretty thick skin!)
"When all else fails, force prevails!" Ummm, we're gonna need a bigger hammer here.

Hey Alvin! What do you think, will it ever look as good as yours? hahaha, I know, slim chance. Seriously I haven't even given it a good look yet. I did see the trunk is rusted through, and if memory serves me well I think the panel right below it?? Wish I'd taken the time to go over it better but I was a day late getting back to work as it was.
For whomever else may be interested, I'm a regular on G20.net, was autocrossing for 4 years up till 2 years ago, and am in the process of doing a very unorthodox tube frame, 1.4L SR20 based, AWD, turbo, 84 Sentra. You're probably guessing the user name has something to do with that, and it does. Aimed at D Modified class. I haven't made much progress in the last couple months but hope that changes as the summer chores wain. The spl311 will have to wait till that is on it's feet and causing trouble unfortunately.

P.S. Forgot, my name is Loren, as Alvin already pointed out. Nice to meet you all.
