Seat options - show us your interiors!

Post by rbhenderson »

Alright, I’ve done a bit of searching and the threads I’ve found are from 2010 and 2003 so most of the pics are gone…

Show us your different seat options, and tell us about them! Looking for pics and first hand experience.

I'm seeing a bunch of seat photos after a search...like these Corbeaus:

Are you looking for photos of aftermarket seats only?

Hey Alvin! Those do look good. Yes, aftermarket or non-original seats. I know there aren’t many that fit and look good so wanted to collect the pics and learnings in one spot.

Here's some pics of my '69 sr20 Resto mod interior. I had original seats rebuilt and upholstered in DuraTweed. Mini Cooper seat belt brackets were modified to fit head rest brackets, very handy. After a couple of 2000 mile road trips, decided to have some 1st generation Miata seats done in the same material. More comfortable for my aging tush and back. Both sets have seat heaters installed. The tweed material is great for spirited driving and hot weather comfort. Pat

I went with Porsche 914 seats. They were cheap at the time, easy to mount and best of all got my 6' frame as low as possible to the floor in my 67.
Re-covering them in the future is still on my to do list.

I had no seats, and came across a set of early 240z seats. Not terrible.

Note: keeps flipping those pictures sideways, I dunno why
