HELP! Hand throttle cable routing [from left dash]

I am in the process of reassembling my '69 roadster.

The previous owner had removed the Hand throttle cable and cut the housing on the interior of the firewall side.. Just eh knob was in place upon disassembly. I have know idea where this cable routes through the firewall and where is connects to within the throttle system [pedal linage - cable - carb].

Can someone help me? Pictures /diagram would be great.
