New guy with an old 'lady

Post by Drew »

Good morning, and thanks to the admin team for letting me join! I've recently taken on a 1965 1500 SPL310 that has been warehoused since the '70s. It belongs to a friend who inherited it from her father. It's on her bucket list to drive it someday, so I told her I could make that happen. I have some experience with these cars, as I worked on one years ago for the boss at the shop I worked at back when I was a tech in approximately 2001. Speaking of, if anyone in the Northeast has a red '69 1600 I'd love to talk, curious as to whatever happened to that car. I'll upload pics as soon as I figure out how

Welcome, we specialize in filling buckets (though we're not really always sure what with!). There are many here who are familiar with the particular quirks a 1500 can have, so feel free to ask questions!
