I know this won't be for everyone. But I always disliked the taillights on the rodster. Took me awhile to find a light that had the right shape. To look stock but a better fit. (In my opinion) they are loosely installed for a mock up. And I really like the look.

When I first bought my roadster I thought the rear view really let the car down. 50 years latter I find the rear view to be one of the coolest parts of the styling. Maybe you should give it some more time, but something less than 50 years perhaps😎

Anyway, I would have to agree with Mike (and most others) about the tail lights. Many see it as one of the best features of the car. That being said, it’s your car!

From a db6 aston martin. But also released on a tr4 triumph. I was looking for awhile at pictures from the 60s and 70s to find the right fit. And that has the peak on top that works. I just never liked the small circle lights. They look out of place to me.
