Leaking Carbs ??

Ok the in bowl on the card Where the Fuel line comes in. their is another spout on the top. My car runs but gas is pooring out the spout on both sides? What is going on . I was thinking the float is not working that good and not shutting off the gas hens the over flow of gass this thing on top looks like it might have been broken off and is just a nut thru a rround pice. Any thoughts on why this is leaking???

The Floats are not working. If the "valve" in the float was not tightened enough they can work loose or the floats are out of adjustment.

Some body correct me I belive the spacing is .25 in. And you should get the proper over flow lines....fuel could drip onto the exhaust pipe and cause a fire.

Old racers tip once you get the floats working put a 3/8 extesion under the bend in the float arm and bend it to match the contour it will put your levels at the perfect level.
