Windshield frame trim

Any tips on how to finish the inside of the windshield frame on a high windshield car. I’m referring to the trim that runs up along the sides and across the top. Mine fell apart when removing for painting the car and I don’t see any of the vendors offering it. Are folks crafting something by hand to replace?

I used Datsun Parts 1231 on the 69.
It took a bit off dremel sanding to fit nicely under the door and windshield seals but turned out well.

Yep, made my own.
Found small wall anchors that fit the existing holes in the sheet metal uprights, then made 1/8” plywood strips to span the uprights.
Then got some industrial rubber extrusions from work, and bonded them to the plywood after it had been screwed on, so the screws were hidden.
Same for across the top, though I may have forgone the plywood and bonded direct.
Not all think it’s pretty, but it is my own. Pics to follow.

OK, so properly prefaced this does not include the terminology "and it turned out real pretty.... smooth transition".

Windshield corner. The rubber solid on the uprights, I only had controlled cut access to a 45 degree cutter. Hand-cutting dense rubber is a recipe for drawing blood!
Different rubber (more like a foam) used on the horizontals. You may notice I reworked the rear view mirror to eliminate the large blind spot I was getting over passenger side fender, that I get from having a long back and sitting up real straight.
