SoCal AutoX this Saterday (7/8/06)

Who's coming to Hollywood Park this Sat for the AutoX?
Ron wrote in another thread -
Also a possibility. Stephen (twinight) and I hit the Fairplex Sunday and participated in the Porsche clubs autocross. Lots of fun. There is another one July 8th at Hollywood park. Cost is $60 and you get 14 runs throughout the day and a loaner helmet if needed. It would be great to see a gaggle of Roadster there.
and
We'll if you're up for the autocross here's how to get in.
Here's the link to the registration. You'll need to create a login and id/password.

http://infoconnsystems.com/AXReg/

Once you've done that, log in and click on the left side Registration-Autocross. Choose the July 8 Hollywood park event and fill in the fields. I think Roadsters are class X.

Then print out the AX Reg/tech form and prepayment form and send prepayment form in. Bring tech form to track. I did it late so I paid at the site. Be sure to clean up your oil leaks, tighten lugs and have brakes and clutch in good order. It is kind of tough on the car, so have it tuned well. Tech wasn't too tough to pass. Basically does it stop? and does it go?!!

It's $60 and begins early about 7:30-8am for tech and track walk through. Runs start at 9am and are done in groups. Once your group is called you do 5 runs. Wait for all groups and do it again 5 runs. Then finally timed runs at the end (all are timed but only last count for event results).

Every group is required to work the track for about 30-45 min. each picking up cones. If you need a helmet they have a few loaners. If you bring your own must be M95 rating (?)

It's an all day thing. Awards about 4pm. I can bring a tent/cover for shade. I'll donate some drinks too. Maybe potluck

I don't see the driver number on the registration list, but they assigned Ron car #695 and Victor #694
These will have to be put on the sides of the car.
I printed some blank tech forms I'll bring with me.

Your computer doesn't have cookies enabled to automatically fill in the driver number? I push the down arrow in the text field and it comes up.
