I got 24" (+/- 1/4") from oil pan to top most point of valve cover. Mind you I had to eyeball it so thats the reason for the +/-. KA's fit nicely in a roadster, but if I had to do all over again I would definitely go with the 1.8 Miata engine! Tons of after market available. They are being raced all over the place. Tons of the engines are available here and not all JDMed!
