New User Registration Requirements

I had seen a few folks asking if we could do something about getting location and roadster info a part of the registration process. TJP asked me again last night. I got off my -ss and did some research and found I could add custom fields. So going forward all new user registrations will require mandatory fields be filled in. Location has always been there it just was not displayed on user registration and was not mandatory. It is now. I added several other custom fields to the user registration. I added Model with a 1600 or 2000 option as well as year with a Low Windshield-64-67.5 and a High Windshield-68-70 with both of the new fields being mandatory. So, that should help going forward. Existing members can always go into the user control panel and add entries to those fields if you so desire. Your choice. Thanks.

I think that it's a good move on your part Steve. It will certainly help when answering questions and locating parts. If someone really needs their privacy they can always just give a general location. I hope current members who haven't already posted their info will now do so.

A better choice would be. 3 seat 1500 and "all other roadsters".
