Bay Area - Solvang Caravan Update - Friday Apr 28th, 2006
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Folks will be leaving at 10AM on Friday, April 28th from San Carlos Airport, right off highway 101 at the Redwood Shores Parkway/Holly exit. We will leave at 10AM heading down highway 101.

Next Stop will be the highway off-ramp for the Coyote Creek Golf Drive in San Jose @11AM

We will commence From Coyote Creek down Highway 101 toward Solvang.

Please NOTE--->

Please respond to me (zubkoff@sbcglobal) or to this post and let me know if you are planning on driving down in this caravan. I want to make sure we don't leave anyone behind.

Also, if you have them...Bring along a Motorola walkie-talkie. These help keep all the caravan participants in communication with each other...

Thanks,

Dan Zubkoff

Hey Dan

I will be heading down on Friday hoping to stop in Pismo Beach for Lunch sometime around Noon, let the kids play in the sand a little and get on the road sometime between 2-3 for Solvang

I'll see you at the San Carlos Airport at 10am, with a full tank of gas.

I might be able to meet you at the golf course, but I will need gas in Salinas. I don't know when I will be getting out of here, or what traffic will do on 680.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

Looks like I'm going solo. I might be picking someone up near the city, in that case I will try and make it to the San Carlos airport at 10, if not it will be stop #2. I will however need gas in Salinas (my usual stop, in theory I could make King City, but I'm not going to try.)
