Willow Springs Commerative Road Races...

Post by RCMike »

Well...

It was time to relax and enjoy racing the car. We were planning an off season motor refresh, hoping to try to fit it into Kevin's schedule.

And then I went out for the first timed session of the weekend..

Yes, first glad you are OK, and I hope the other driver was as well. He needs to feel the pain of his stupidity.

Saw the still pictures first, and got a feeling inside like when seeing a race horse break its leg during a race.
To charge full tilt into a blind dust cloud, when there isn’t 4 backup cars in anyone’s garage back home (like NASCAR boys) is foolish at best.
Hope we can help you with your return, glad you are OK, as he could have ended up in the cockpit in a second.

Wow, that "bang" hardly seemed to affect you and the car when it happened. Then you see the damage...yikes.
Glad you are OK

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.
