Might want to clean out the tank and the lines too if this is a common problem

The previous owner said he had the tank cleaned and sealed but was still getting some crud. Could be from the fuel lines or maybe the guy who cleaned and sealed the tank didn't do a very good job. I'll have to do some investigating.
