Photo Shoot with John Morton for Automobile Magazine

Post by bakerjf »

Had a photoshoot for Automobile Magazine today. They are doing an article on Roadsters for their "Collectible Classic" section and used my car for the photographs and test drive. John Morton was interviewed for the article and it came to light that he had never driven a stock Roadster - so I now have the great distinction of owning the car that ended that streak. Great guy - he liked the car and remarked how "solid" it felt. The author said the article should appear in the magazine in 3-6 months.

Haha - Everything works! He appreciated the heater, and was pleasantly surprised that the blinkers worked too.

A recent issue of Automobile has a interesting article on organic engines. And the collectible classic
is a 71 - 74 Javelin!

What a great story, about a story. They could not have picked better representative car, thanks for providing such an excellent example. Having John Morton and a feature story in a major publication just took your car's value up 100's of dollars too! ;-)

Thank you very much! The contributing editor (author) suggested a price bump down the road as well, but to be honest I'm pretty excited just to have had the car professionally photographed (for free!). They took almost two hours to do the job - with John driving the car up and down PCH and static shots as well. I think the finished product will be pretty cool.
