Excellent color choice Shannon! I love that color on the M coupe, and it looks fantastic on your roadster!

^ I thought you went with the composite springs? Is that how it sits with those on?
And what about the "blue tinted" windshield... you're such a tease!

Re: It's back . . . in BMW M Estoril Blue
I did buy some Volvo monoleafs springs but, since I have no patience, I put them on my 69 2000. Believe it or not, the ride height for both are almost identical. I may put the springs on the blue car or go with the fiberglass springs. Either way, I've got to lower BOTH cars.I thought you went with the composite springs? Is that how it sits with those on?
As for the blue tinting, it's very hard to see and probably wouldn't be distinguishable in a photograph. It's a very light blue throughout the windshield. Since I'm tall and am using Miata seats, having one dark tinted band on the top was not an option since I'd constantly be looking through it.

I for one never understood the desire to have HUGE wheels with rubber bands for tires. I like a sidewall on a vintage car. Flame away all!

Leave it to Sid. I was trying to be nice, but since you brought it up..........spl310 wrote:I for one never understood the desire to have HUGE wheels with rubber bands for tires. I like a sidewall on a vintage car. Flame away all!
I think the work on the car and the color is absolutely beautiful......the "escalade" look on the tires ruins it....Lowering it WONT help. Gotta get some different tires!
Of course it is easy for me to be critical, hell I don't even have a running roadster, much less one as nice as yours.
