Nomex Underwear

Post by blueridgespeed »

-Actually, I'm not sure I need to be prepared for flames from THIS forum, but I'm asking a question that I'm afraid has been asked before.

Running AR Libre 14x5.5's, is there anyone who's settled on 195/60/14's over 185/60/14's. I know the 185/60/14's look, perform and fit well - many of us have the Yoko Avenis in that size, but for a longer-wearing street tire, I currently have a set of_

195/60/14 tires, unworn take-offs from an Integra, but didn't want to mount them if they won't fit well.

Figure stock ride height, and a later car - I know the variables become difficult to predict otherwise.

I've combed Alvin's awesome post, with what appears to be a nice variety of tire widths run on the Libres - I just can't read the tire sizes on the sidewalls in those pics!

I have not run 195/60 on my 14" Libre rims, but my 185/60 are no were near close, so 195/60 should fit fine.

Do you know of off set on your rims? are they "0" offset 240Z rims?

I have run 195/60 x 15 on 7" rims and the only rubbed in the back when going over extreme changes in the road, like going driving one wheel over a curb while turning into a uphill driveway.

Per Alvin's suggestion to me!

I went with 195/60 14's for my Libres.

I am lowered on OE Comp springs too.

I haven't mounted the tires and wheels yet, but I am sure everything will be A OK

I've never run anything other than a 195/60/14 on my Libres. Never had an issue either.
