It's high time for me to get cracking on the 2nd annual 2013 311's Roadster Calendar! It's hard to believe it's already November. I hope everyone had a great summer!

For those of you not familiar with the roadster calendar, the thread for last years calendar is here...
http://311s.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f= ... r+calendar" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So, if you are interested in having your roadster in the 2013 calendar, please send picture(s) to jared@grassvalleyprinters.com. Please send your pictures at the highest quality possible. Also, please include any text and information on your car. Any picture with a roadster in it will be considered! Your car doesn't have to be show quality. I will respond when I get your picture, so if you don't hear from me, PM me or give me a call at (530) 273-1993. Also, cars from last year will not be allowed in this years calendar. But, I will accept a different car from one of last years owners. And I may use a couple of pictures from last year that didn't make it into the 2012 calendar. Photos must be sent in by Nov. 18th! Please include your name and 311s handle with your pictures. Also, copy and past this text into the email...

"I (your name) give full permission for this photo which was taken by me, to be used in the Datsun Roadster Calendar to be printed and sold by Jared White of Grass Valley Printers."

I'm thinking of changing the process a bit from last year, mainly to make things a bit easier and quicker on my end. Depending on the amount of photos, I may not do the vote. After seeing what everyone voted on last year, I feel confident that I can choose pretty much the same photos that everyone would have chosen, and save time by not having to setup the website and tally the votes and all! Ahh, I will try the "poll" feature so people can vote on wether or not we have a vote!

I'm also only going to produce one size. It will be slightly smaller than the large calendar from last year... Mainly to reduce weight so that I can ship them first class which should be cheaper for everyone. So, the price should end up being around $15 or $16 each. And like last time, I will send $1 of each sale to 311s.

Also, I'm going sell out to the man and offer ads to the vendors! The cost will be $20 per month for a 1" tall by 10" wide ad across the bottom of the calendar. There will be 12 spots available. If you're a vendor interested in an ad, I can help you create it, or you can send me a PDF file of your ad. They will be in black and white.

So, my plan is to have them ready to ship by the first week in december. I'm sure there is something I forgot to mention, so if anyone has any questions please post them or PM me.

Thanks!
Jared

Thanks for all the support!

mraitch - sorry you missed the last one. I'll try to make a few extra posts on here when they are ready to sell so everyone has a chance to get one. Also, I'll upload a PDF file of last years calendar soon so people who didn't get one can still check it out.

Munxcub - I will ship to canada. I think it cost a few bucks more...

Jared,
Thanks for doing this. I need a calendar for work. Please put me down for one and lmk when they are ready...
Good call on the pics from last year. On the 02 forum they had the same 'rule'. It helps keep the calendars fresh.

It will probably be another $5 or so. I'll figure out the cost once I know the size and weight of this years issue.

Thanks, Jared

Sounds awesome! I remember being disappointed when I missed the orders last year, so at least I'm informed this year :) Thanks for doing this!
